Why did you decide to study an MBA?
I decided to study an MBA because I wanted to have the title and I wanted to have better career prospects.
What were the best aspects of studying online with AIB?
With AIB, I was able to fit the MBA within my daily workload. It fit perfectly and I could do the course according to my needs, at night or during the day or any time. It was available to work on all the time.
How has the AIB MBA helped you with any type of career progression or career success so far?
The AIB MBA mostly helped me in my IT specialist role. I was able to manage my time and also understand people within the facility – being a millennial and working with older people often sees a big gap so my MBA helped me in understanding the gap. I was also better able to understand things from a management level.
Now I’m using the skills I learnt in the MBA to help me analyse where I would be best off to open my second store, as my project was completely based on my own business.
