What will I learn studying Procurement and Global Logistics Management with AIB?
You will learn how to design and evaluate effective procurement and global logistics systems, with a focus on how systems can be improved in the face of disruption and uncertainty. The subject will take you through all the elements of a logistics network, including customer relationship management, warehousing and packaging and transportation.
How is the subject structured and delivered?
Procurement and Global Logistics Management is delivered over eight weeks of structured learning where you will delve into a new topic each week relevant to procurement, supply chains and logistics management. Weekly online webinars are hosted with your online class and led by Online Learning Facilitators (OLFs) who facilitate interactive discussions on the topics, case studies and application of concepts within organisations. Contribution to live webinars enables you to learn not only from the learning material and facilitator but also from the experiences and viewpoints of fellow professionals studying alongside you. Don’t worry if you can’t make all the live webinars though – they’re recorded, so you can watch at any time. The subject includes two assessments – one due mid-way through the subject and the other at the end.
