The first assessment is an investigative report that involves conducting an evidence-based diagnosis of a learning and development gap within an organisation, aligning the findings with its strategic priorities. This sets the foundation for the second assessment, where students design a comprehensive learning and development initiative.

What will I take away from Organisational Learning and Development?

Although this subject is about optimising employee performance, the way in which that is achieved is through the human resource development process, which is a systematic way at interrogating a performance-based problem or opportunity to understand why the development opportunity exists, which makes it much easier to deploy targeted solutions that employees will resonate with.
