AIB is thrilled to announce that graduands, guests, and members of the AIB community are invited to join us on 11th November at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre to celebrate AIB’s upcoming Graduation Ceremony.
This year our guest speaker will be Peter Alexander, Australia’s ‘Pyjama King’, who has built an enormously successful business based on fun and fashionable sleepwear, daywear and gift wear.
Peter Alexander is a true entrepreneur, having started his business on his mother’s dining room table with a $3000 loan from his Dad, determined to fill a gap in the market for comfortable women’s pyjamas.
He was 24 at the time, with no tertiary education or business experience, and with an education track record of learning difficulties and the title of ‘least likely to succeed’ at school.
Today his name heralds a successful internationally recognised brand name, with almost 100 stores in Australia and New Zealand, and generating sales of $130 million annually.
Believing in the importance of setting high goals, Peter says people with high goals have far more chance of achieving them than those with low goals or no goals at all.
