Helen Siegertsz

Helen, a seasoned professional with a diverse career spanning various industries, currently holds the position of Operations Manager at Australian Radiology. With an impressive background, Helen’s journey began as an Accountant with multiple roles in finance, share broking with JP Morgans, and the hospitality sector at Hyatt International. She has also made significant contributions to aged care and primary health, owning a general practice with 35 dedicated staff and successfully growing the business until its sale in 2018. During this time, Helen was awarded the “Practice Manager of the Year” award for South Australia and the Northern Territory, and she’s been involved in projects such as the Advanced Care Project in Australia, assisting with training modules for administration, nursing and GP staff.

Since 2018, Helen has been leveraging her healthcare management insight as a consultant, specialising in the field. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Practice Management (AAPM) and an ambassador and mentor for the organisation, underscoring her passion for the profession and commitment to mentorship. Helen’s relentless pursuit of knowledge and expertise is evident through her numerous qualifications, completing her MBA in 2022. Helen is now pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration and authoring her first textbook in Healthcare Management.

With a profound aptitude for business development and organisational change, Helen possesses a versatile skill set encompassing people management, accounting, financial analysis, operational management, change management, training, industrial relations, and strategic management. She can provide guidance in these areas to members of the AIB community.
