Head of Digital

The Head of Digital will develop and lead strategic digital initiatives, aligning with overarching business objectives and effectively managing the digital team to achieve budgeted KPIs across Performance Media, SEO, and affiliates.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • This position is accountable for, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:
  • Cost per Lead / Lead Volume: Deliver budgeted volume of leads at the target Cost per Lead for the full year.
  • Lead Quality: Ensure lead generation activity maintains or improves on lead > application conversion.
  • Digital Strategy: Oversee Performance Media, SEO and affiliate strategies to align with business objectives.
  • Budget Management: Ensure effective budget allocation between platforms aiming to maximise enrolments for the budget.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and maintain a high-performance culture within the digital team, focusing on talent retention and skill development.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Deliver digital marketing initiatives on time and within budget, establishing clear quarterly roadmaps.
  • CRM Team Collaboration: Work closely with the CRM team to ensure lead generation strategies and CRM activity are in alignment to drive post-lead conversion.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all Performance Media, SEO and affiliate activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory standards, in addition to meeting brand guidelines and tone of voice.

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree in Business, Marketing or similar is desirable or relevant work experience.
  • Extensive Performance Marketing Experience, Expertise in Long Buying Cycles and Data-Driven Strategies: A minimum of 10 years in marketing, demonstrating a successful track record of utilising data analytics to inform and tailor Performance Media approaches to achieve business results.
  • Leadership and Development: Proven experience in leading media buyers, showcasing the ability to develop and implement strategies that address the unique challenges and opportunities of the higher education industry.
  • Understanding of the Long Buying Cycle and the extended decision-making process typical in higher education.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the overall higher education environment is desirable – including the competitive marketplace and Student Recruitment and Retention Strategies.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution of Performance Media and SEO: Ability to develop and implement comprehensive digital strategies aligned with business objectives, particularly around lead generation and long purchase cycle products.
  • Budget Management and Financial Acumen: Proficiency in managing budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation in line with KPIs.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Strong leadership skills to build, manage, and motivate a high-performing digital team, focusing on talent retention and development.
  • Collaborative and Interpersonal Skills: Capability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, CRM and brand teams, and engage productively with various stakeholders.

IT Manager

We are seeking a dedicated IT Manager to oversee and support the essential technology that powers our business. In this role, you will ensure the smooth functioning of all technology-related activities, collaborating closely with vendors to maintain service delivery in line with our company’s policies, procedures, and values.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Key Responsibilities
  • This position is accountable for but not limited to the following responsibilities:
  • Strategy – Contribute to the priorities of the Technology Team to deliver value that meets acceptable business timeframes and maximises return on investment.
  • Support – Contribute to delivering IT help desk services and projects for AIB Staff and Students. Ensure IT Support tickets are within Time to Response and Time to Resolution KPI targets.
  • Management of external vendors, including coordinating support tickets, to ensure they met third-party service level agreements.
  • Ensure the Weekly KPI of 0 tickets not followed up is met.
  • Cybersecurity – Ensure systems and services meet security standards outlined by governance and penetration testing reviews.
  • Ensure RMM tools across servers and endpoints meet the Weekly KPI of 100% coverage.
  • Ensure Antivirus/EDR across the fleet meets the Weekly KPI of 100% coverage.
  • Ensure Patch Management is applied to meet patch policy timelines.
  • Ensure Vulnerability Management is under the threshold of Weekly KPI targets.
  • Ensure Phishing Training and Simulations are conducted to improve staff knowledge about critical risks. Weekly KPI of 95% staff engagement every 90 days.
  • Ensure user account and endpoint device provisioning and decommissioning are implemented in line with procedure.
  • Infrastructure – Ensure customer-facing systems and services are available with a 99.9% uptime and legacy and internal systems with a 99% uptime.
  • Reviews – Develop a program of regular reviews and updates of security systems, such as firewalls, data protection controls, data storage, patching, encryption, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, etc. Oversee internal or external resources to ensure these systems’ proper deployment, configuration, and functioning.
  • Leadership – Ensure the team’s attitude, capabilities, culture, ambitions, and processes are aligned to deliver and exceed performance targets. Provide leadership, coaching, oversight, and task management for activities and projects relating to information technology practices.
  • About You
  • Degree level or higher qualifications in computer science, software engineering, science or related fields are required. Relevant certifications within Information Technology/Computer Systems Technology will be highly regarded.
  • 5+ years of team and technical leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of cybersecurity and infrastructure management experience.
  • IT management best practices across design, operations, governance, project management and customer service
  • Exposure to the following technologies:

Online Learning Facilitators (HR/Management & Financial Management)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Currently we are looking for casual Online Learning Facilitators to provide outstanding teaching experiences for our students in the following subject areas:

  • HR/Management (specifically – strategic Human Resource Management, Organisational Learning and Design, Managing Change, Managing People in a Global Context and Strategic Management)
  • Financial Management and Corporate Governance

An Online Learning Facilitator (OLF) will deliver online classes under the guidance of the Subject Co-ordinator, Director of Academic Operations, or delegate. OLFs will deliver classes using AIB content and assessments. OLFs will provide assistance and support to students in all academic matters relating to the subject, deliver webinars in the subject, mark subject assessments, and provide feedback to students about marked assessment items. OLFs are required to remain up-to-date in their discipline area by participating in professional development. In addition, all Online Facilitators must adhere to AIB standards and protocols.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered you are required to meet the following selection criteria:

  • PhD level qualification in business or business-related discipline; or Masters level qualification in business disciplines PLUS significant relevant professional and/or management experience within the same discipline
  • Experience in teaching subjects in one or more of the above disciplines
  • Experience teaching within the Australian higher education sector; previous online teaching experience is preferred.
  • Teaching experience at the post-graduate level; previous MBA teaching experience is preferred Customer service focus and strong people skills
  • Demonstrated high standard of verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours

Lecturer – Level A (Teaching Scholar) first MBA Subject ‘Leadership’ 

Academics at AIB are involved in development of subject learning resources, design and review of assessments, contribution to on-line academic content, providing assistance and support to students in all academic matters relating to the Academic’s areas of expertise, marking and moderation, and updating of materials. Academics are expected to remain current in their field and to regularly refresh and incorporate contemporary issues into the curriculum. Academics are required to remain up-to-date with AIB standards and protocols by engaging in scholarship and participating in professional development, collegial forums and governance through committees, projects etc. Lecturers are required to provide input to Course and Program Reviews, revisions of academic policy and procedures and to contribute to the functionality and effectiveness of administrative processes. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Preparing/updating/reviewing learning materials, assessments and solutions to ensure a quality student learning experience 
  • Teaching thirteen online classes over five terms each year 
  • Interacting pro-actively with students through webinars and the learning management system (e.g. forum) 
  • Providing academic support to students 
  • Marking and moderating assessments 
  • Documenting student interactions and updating the student system accordingly 
  • Actively participating in AIB’s Scholarship Program and up-to-date industry and discipline knowledge.
