AIB’s online MBA allows students to study while working full time to finish in 2 years (standard study load of 6 subjects per year). Students also have the option to accelerate their studies to finish in just 12 months, subject to meeting concurrent study criteria. The program has 12 subjects, each lasting 8 weeks, allowing for focused and intensive study. There are 8 core subjects, 3 elective subjects for General MBA award students or 3 core specialisation subjects for specialisation MBA award students, plus Project, the capstone subject. This structure provides comprehensive business knowledge and allows room for specialisation.
How is the GCM program structured and how long does it take?
GCM programs in Australia generally consists of 4 core subjects spanning 6 months to 1 year of study. AIB’s GCM can be undertaken as standalone study, or as the first part of our MBA. The online course is designed to be completed in 8 months while working but can be completed in as little as 4 months, subject to meeting concurrent study criteria. The program consists of 2 core subjects, plus 2 electives of your choice. This streamlined structure is designed to provide a solid foundation in management principles without the additional coursework required in an MBA.
