No purchase or payment is necessary to enter. Payment or purchase will not be accepted as an alternative means of entering the promotion to receive the prize. To complete your entry, you must read and agree to the following terms. Participation in this contest constitutes full and unconditional agreement and acceptance of these official rules.  

For purposes of these Official Rules, a person who is eligible to enter the promotion is called an “eligible entrant”, the term “Sponsor” means the Australian Institute of Business (AIB) and where the context permits or requires, any representative or representatives of the Sponsor. 

Important Note: By entering the promotion, you agree to comply with and be bound by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final with respect to all matters relating to the Contest. No Prize will be awarded to an eligible entrant in respect of an Entry which he/she submits to the Sponsor which does not comply in full with the provisions of these Official Rules, or which is received by the Sponsor outside the Contest Period, or which does not contain all of the required information. 

1. Eligibility: 

  • This competition is open to AIB graduates and students who have passed census of at least one course at the Australian Institute of Business (AIB). 
  • Participants can be from anywhere worldwide, provided they have a postal address to which the Australian Post can deliver. 
  • AIB employees and contractors are not eligible.

2. How to Enter: 

  • To enter the promotion, eligible participants must take a photo either of or with one of the six digital displays. 
  • Participants must share the photo on LinkedIn and tag the Sponsor’s official LinkedIn page: Australian Institute of Business
  • Promotion Period: Five of the digital displays will be live from 12:00 AM EDT on July 5, 2024, to 11:59 PM EDT on July 14, 2024, and the one located at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre will be live from 7:00 EDT AM on July 5, EDT 2024, to 2:30 PM EDT on July 12, 2024. With the promotion officially open from 12:00AM EDT July 5, 2024, participants will have until 11:59 PM EDT on July 21, 2024, to share their photos on LinkedIn. 

3. Prizes: 

  • Each participant who correctly shares their photo and tags the Sponsor’s LinkedIn page will receive a limited edition AIB sweatshirt. 
  • There is a limit of 100 sweatshirts available. Prizes will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis based on the time of the LinkedIn post. 
  • Eligible entrants will be contacted via LinkedIn to provide their mailing address, email, and sweatshirt size by the Sponsor’s official LinkedIn page. Eligible entrants will have 48 hours from the initial contact to provide their address and email to receive their sweatshirt. 
  • If a Potential Winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to the last LinkedIn message within forty-eight (48) hours from the time it was sent by the Sponsor, that Potential Winner forfeits any claim to the Prize. The Sponsor will have no further obligation to that Potential Winner regarding the Promotion or that Prize.  
  • After receiving the winner’s contact details, the Sponsor will have up to 1 month to send the sweatshirt. 
  • The Sponsor is not responsible for any failure to contact potential winners, whether due to human error or otherwise. 

4. General Rules: 

  • This promotion is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, state, and municipal laws and regulations. 
  • By entering the promotion, entrants agree to hold harmless the Sponsor, each of its subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, governors, franchisees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) against any and all liability, damages, or causes of action with respect to or arising out of: (i) entrant’s participation in the promotion, (ii) the receipt or use of the prizes awarded therein, and (iii) the administration of the promotion and distribution of the prizes awarded therein. 
  • By entering the promotion, eligible entrants consent to the collection and use of their personal information by the Sponsor for purposes of administering the promotion and so that the Sponsor, its affiliates, or business partners can contact eligible entrants with future promotional offers. 
  • By entering the promotion, the entrants grant to the Sponsor the unlimited right (but not the obligation) to publish or use, without payment or other compensation and without notice, consent, or approval, his/her name, photograph or likeness, address, voice, and any statements made about the promotion or prize in any publicity or program or advertising, without geographic limit and in perpetuity, in any medium now known or hereafter devised (including the Internet). 
  • The prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or otherwise. 
  • The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value and/or to terminate, modify, or withdraw this promotion, in whole or in part, at any time, without prior notice for any reason including, but not limited to, viruses, bugs, tampering, or other causes beyond the Sponsor’s control. 
  • The Released Parties do not assume any responsibility for tampering, theft, defects, viruses, human errors, deletions, technical or telephone, computer line, network, server, access providers, computer equipment or software problems, undeliverable messages, computer errors, lost, misdirected, late, or incomplete entries, or inaccurate capture of information or any online difficulties that may result in damage or malfunction or the failure of the Sponsor to process any entry and otherwise award any prize. 

5. Limitation of Liability: 

  • The Released Parties are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion. 
  • The Released Parties assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. 
  • The Released Parties are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Sponsor on account of technical problems.
