Join us for relaxed night of networking at the Chelsea Hotel on July 11th 2024

Date 11/07/2024 Time 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Networking Event Toronto, Canada

In July 2024, AIB is thrilled to celebrate its first-ever Canadian Graduation, and to kick off the festivities and to make the most of the occasion, we are hosting a networking event the night before on Thursday July 11th at the Chelsea Hotel.

This will be an opportunity to meet fellow students and alumni, not only from Toronto, but also those who have travelled into the state for AIB’s very first graduation ceremony in Canada. Everyone is welcome to this networking event, so if you, or someone you know is interested in coming along to learn more about studying at AIB we highly encourage you to do so.

On the night, we’re also having a special panel discussion on how to leverage your MBA for career growth featuring some of AIB’s accomplished alumni from various industries in Canada!

Led by AIB Discipline Lead Dr Alicia Stanway, hear from Lee Rennick, Executive Director, CIO Communities at Foundry; Francesca D’Urso, Engagement Manager at Trindent Consulting; David Zyla, District Vice President – Manitoba West at Scotiabank and Thomas J. Sandrin, Founder & President at Northern Watch Services Inc. They will share their unique journeys and powerful insights on how they leveraged their MBA in their respective roles. You’ll also have the chance to engage with them directly and get answers to your burning questions.

Since you’re coming to Downtown Toronto, make the most of your trip and take part in AIB’s Canada campaign to win a limited-edition sweatshirt!

From July 5th to 14th, AIB will feature six digital billboards near the Metro Toronto Convention Centre celebrating AIB graduates’ success. If you find one and share a photo of it on LinkedIn, tagging AIB, you can win a limited-edition AIB branded sweatshirt!

Here’s how you can win:

  • Be an AIB student or alumni who has passed the census date for at least one course.
  • Find one of our six digital billboards in Toronto using the map and clues below.
  • Snap a photo! 📸
  • Post and tag AIB on LinkedIn.
  • Win a limited-edition AIB sweatshirt!

Clues:

  • Seek the tunnel leading to the saintly station. (tip: look for the underground path)
  • If you’re heading to the Simcoe or the CBC, you’ll walk past me (tip: look for the underground path)
  • Search high above the hustle on the way to CN Tower. (tip: take a walk in the sky)

UPDATE: Looks like billboard number 4 needed a break from all the celebrations. No problem, the remaining five billboards are still up and ready for your selfies!

AIB will appear on the digital billboards once every two minutes, so be patient! Billboard 6 is up until July 12th, and billboards 1-5 are up until July 14th. Post your photo by July 21st. Sweatshirts are limited! Note: the sweatshirt image is a mockup.

We can’t wait to see your photos, so stay alert and happy hunting! Check the Terms and Conditions
