The Success Under Construction Series follows real professionals on their path to achievement, without sugar-coating the lows and amplifying the highs. For a real insight into the entrepreneurial journey, on the 1st of December 2022 we will speak to Jamie Harding, CEO & Founder of Theatrix for our first webinar in the series, ‘When The Arts & Technology Collide’.
In the time of the pandemic, the arts has been one of the most greatly affected industries globally. With over 255,000 events cancelled, over 500,000 artists and crew were impacted and over $280 million loss in revenue in Australia alone, the sector had never felt so vulnerable.
For Theatre Director and Producer, Jamie Harding, identifying a solution to secure the industry’s future, Jamie founded the world’s first online theatre and virtual reality experience, Theatrix.
Theatrix is a revolutionary new streaming service that delivers live entertainment and theatre performances via a monthly subscription. Theatrix uses the latest digital and virtual reality (VR) technologies to revolutionise how audiences’ access and participate in arts, music and entertainment experiences.
On the 1st of December at 10am (ACDT), AIB is inviting Jamie Harding, AIB’s first Industry Fellow, to discuss his journey as an entrepreneur and building blocks for success, namely his resilience and grit to overcome setbacks and the importance of surrounding yourself with people who can fill in your own ‘knowledge-gaps’. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and share ideas in an informal Q&A and virtual networking session.
