Dr Uwe Kaufmann is AIB’s Research Programme Coordinator and Senior Lecturer.

He has more than 10 years of experience in academia with multidisciplinary specialization in international trade, public policy and the regulatory environment and their impact on business operations, economics, and sustainable development.

Uwe has worked on a wide range of research consulting and projects analysing the impact of policy on business performance and development. He has expertise in data and economic research and analysis, trade negotiation and the related preparations required for trade negotiations.

Prior to joining AIB, Uwe held a range of academic positions such as Associate Head Research and Academic Program Director for multidisciplinary postgraduate degrees in International Trade, Economics, Business and Trade Law at the University of Adelaide. He transitioned the delivery of the programs from a traditional face-to-face mode to blended learning by introducing and implementing e-learning.
